Mid Coast

The mid coastal Maine real estate market offers a wide variety of options to choose from.  Encompassing parts of Cumberland, all of Sagadahoc and most of Lincoln County this region is a mix of native Mainers, blue collar workers and summer folk turned year rounders.  The cities of Brunswick and Bath anchor the region.
Brunswick is home to Bowdoin college and the Brunswick Naval Air Station which is slated to close over the coming years making the real estate markets a bit uncertain as to how this mass hiatus of personel will effect the inventory and thus pricing levels. With a population of 20,000 the town of Brunswick offers something for everybody, some great suburban type neighborhoods, a lovely down town center and lots of good arts/culture as a result of Bowdoin College.
Traveling up the coast a bit more you reach Bath Maine, nestled on the Kennebec River and home to Bath Iron Works. A town with a long history of shipbuilding, the ironworks makes US naval destroyers.  The real estate in BathMaine can best be described as classic greek revival as the homes are older and used to house many ship captains from a time past.

Jutting off of Bath and Brunswick are the communities of Phippsburg, Harpswell and Georgetown, 3 great summer destination peninsulas with plenty of area beachs and recreations and thus many waterfront properties to purchase.

As you travel up the coast further you run into Wiscasset, self proclaimed the “Prettiest Little Village in the World.”  Traffic is not ideal in the summer months, but great antiquing and vistas await.
The real estate in all these markets is quite varied depending on location, waterfrontage and style of home.  Please reach out to me for additional community specfic info or visit the community pages via the links to the right.
